It's as if a filter was placed over our eyes, but really it's just Mother Nature showing off. 👍 Thumbs up on the color choices. You never pick wrong.⁣

If these colors and the casting of the light on the peaks isn't the perfect picture of winter in the #CAHighSierra, we don't know what to say. Just magnificent!⁣

Now that's a picture that only an artist could paint... except we get to have this as the real thing in the High Sierra. How lucky are we?!⁣

Popular in the summer months, #SandHarbor in Lake Tahoe sure is pretty dusted with snow for a wintry colored landscape. It's also a bit quieter this time of year. Not exactly 🩱🩳 swimsuit weather. But great for pictures and a quiet afternoon.⁣

As the lights reflect off of the cloud filled night sky, it creates a wondrous warm glow that covers the whole landscape. It's like a postcard except lucky for us, it's real life in the High Sierra.⁣

The High Sierra's vibrant blue sky makes the snow glow in all its glory. Or is it the other way around? 😉⁣
